The Kinko Bay, located in Tarumizu that sits in the shadow of the fuming Sakurajima volcano, is one of the greatest fishing ground in Japan. The greatest blessing of the unique terrain of the bay is that the Black Current, which is one of the greatest warm current in the world, circulates within the bay. This ocean that is rich in oxygen and high in water temperature throughout the year is always highly transparent and offers the most appropriate environment for farm-raising of kanpachi.

We feed soft EP and EP feedstuffs that are created with our own standard recipes, focus on fostering the fish with a fewer number of feedings, and create high-quality and delicious fish in conjunction with local producers having high farm-raising techniques. Although kanpachi generally is shipped at the weight of 3kg mark, we foster them to more than 4 kg so that we can maintain the production system enabling the shipment of constant amount throughout the year, aiming at delivering kanpachi that has the finest meat quality and taste.

We aim to reduce the specific smell of the fish by feeding feedstuffs with blended plant-derived oil, and in order to keep the firm texture, we cut the fish meat swiftly under a sanitary environment. Kanpachi generally is said to richly contain DHA and EPA, the amount of which is comparable to those contained in the red meat of natural tuna and salmon.
